ISCA (イスカ)とは？

ISCA TOKYO（イスカ東京）のプログラムSecondary Courseは小学校高学年～中学生が対象

ISCA唯一のサテライトスクール、ISCA TOKYO（イスカ東京）は、2022年5月より新プログラム“Secondary Course”（セカンダリーコース）を開講しました。

英国ISCA本校は、世界の名門芸術大学合格率97％という驚異的な数字でも評価の高い学校です。そのISCA本校が監修したCAP（Creative Arts Programme）を直輸入した本コースは、

① アートを「偶発的」「感情的」「思いつき」ではなく「社会や身近な物事への問題提起・問題解決のファイナルアウトカム（最終形）と捉え

② 固定概念を取り払い、トライアンドエラー（試行錯誤）を繰り返すプロセスから生み出されるものこそがクリエイティブと定義

アートレッスンを通して、「クリエイティブ思考」「プロセス思考」を学びます。

対象は、英国の教育システムで“Secondary School”（セカンダリースクール）に通う年齢（10歳～15歳）。
ISCA本校公認チューターによる本コースはすべて英語で行われます。（日本語補助あり）

授業料：105,000円

毎回宿題としてリサーチの課題が出され、次の授業の最初に皆でディスカッションを行い、それぞれの視座と知識・見解をクラスでシェアします。

Lesson 3: Experiment with dimension using cardboard medium

宿題
– Understand how criticism differs from attacking someone’s feelings.　
– Pick 3 news stories you found interesting over the next few weeks. Then, perform some research online to find out where, when, why, who and how your choice of incident happened.
– Research a person of your choice and create a scrapbook about their life.
– Go to the TATE Modern website where you can discover over 70,000 artworks by 5000 different artists. Pick an artwork, at random, or by your choice, and study the piece so you can present to your class what story of significance the artwork holds.
– What does it mean to be ‘radical’? Choose a radical historical figure from below, and research their story, and how they changed the world.
